She added, "The President's immediate priority is to reopen the Strait without any restrictions, whether transit fees or otherwise." She further told journalists that the United States witnessed an increase in shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday. Levit declined to answer a question about who currently controls the Strait. The White House spokesperson stated that Trump's tough rhetoric led to an agreement with Iran, adding that Vance has played a major and primary role in Iran from the beginning. The White House spokesperson said that Iran has indicated it will hand over enriched uranium.
