U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated in an interview that the resolution of humanitarian problems in the Gaza sector may provoke the emergence of new militants.
"We have seen that when people do not have the ability to satisfy their basic needs, they become more vulnerable to extremist groups," noted Austin.
