Medvedev and Sabalenka Reach Indian Wells Semifinals

Russian Daniel Medvedev and Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka have both advanced to the semifinals of the Indian Wells tournament. Medvedev defeated Frenchman Arthur Fils, while Sabalenka defeated Russian Lyudmila Samsonova. Other stars like Alcaraz and Andreeva also secured their semifinal spots.

Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev, ranked sixth in the world, has also reached the semifinals after defeating Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech. In women's singles, the world's number one Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka secured her spot in the semifinals by overcoming Russian Lyudmila Samsonova. She will face American Madison Keys, who is ranked fifth in the world and reached the semifinals after defeating Swiss Belinda Bencic.

Also in the semifinals was Russian Maria Andrejeva, ranked 11th in the world, who triumphed over Ukrainian Elina Svitolina. She will compete against finalist Yegor Shiontek, who is ranked second in the world and previously defeated Chinese Xin Qinyi.

Spanish Carlos Alcaraz, ranked third in the world and current champion of the Masters 1000 tournament in Indian Wells, continues his excellence at the tournament in California. He advanced to the semifinals after defeating Argentine Francisco Cerundolo.
