Argentinian star Lionel Messi attended a business forum in the city of Miami, Florida, USA, on Wednesday, stealing the spotlight in a formal suit. The world champion spoke about the importance of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which the country will host next summer in partnership with Canada and Mexico, in boosting and reviving the economy. Messi's attendance came after his team lost 1-2 to Nashville in the second of three playoff games following the end of the league last month. Messi can continue playing for his team, Inter Miami, until December 6th of this year, provided they reach the final of the US Open Cup. However, Messi will be on vacation until next March, when the new season begins, which has sparked the interest of Galatasaray.
