Inter Miami Reaches MLS Cup Final

On Saturday, Inter Miami reached the MLS Cup final for the first time in their six-year history by crushing New York City 5-1 at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. Tadeo Allende scored a hat-trick in this match, with additional goals from Telasco Segovia and Mateo Silvetti.

In the 14th minute, following a defensive error by New York City's Raúl Gustavo, Sergio Busquets played a long pass, and Allende broke the deadlock with a powerful right-footed shot. In the 22nd minute, Jordi Alba delivered a perfect cross into the heart of the area, where Allende, getting ahead of his marker, scored a spectacular header to celebrate his seventh goal in these playoffs.

In the 37th minute, New York City pulled one back through Justin Haak, who headed home a Morales set-piece. However, this was only a temporary setback. In the 67th minute, Messi found Silvetti, who made it 3-1 with a precise strike.

In the 82nd minute, Segovia, who had just come on, scored the fourth goal after a brilliant one-touch passing move with Jordi Alba. Moments later, in the 88th minute, Allende completed his hat-trick to seal a 5-1 victory.

Inter Miami will now play in the final on December 6th at Chase Stadium against the best-of series winner between Vancouver and San Diego. For Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, who will retire at the end of this season, this is an opportunity to add another trophy to their already crowded cabinets.
