LeBron James has been selected to the NBA All-Star for the 22nd time in his career, but for the first time as a reserve. The league announced the rest of the selections for the All-Star game, which will take place on February 15th. In addition to James, the Western Conference reserves are Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves), Jamal Murray (Denver Nuggets), Chet Holmgren (Oklahoma City Thunder), Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns), and Deni Avdija (Portland Trail Blazers). The Eastern Conference reserves are Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers), Jalen Johnson (Atlanta Hawks), Karl-Anthony Towns (New York Knicks), Pascal Siakam (Indiana Pacers), Norman Powell (Miami Heat), Scottie Barnes (Toronto Raptors), and Jalen Duren (Detroit Pistons). Although players were selected by conference, they will be distributed into two teams from the United States and one from the World. They will compete in a round-robin mini-tournament, with the top two teams advancing to a final. James leads this All-Star game with a record of 22 selections.
