Son provided an assist for the first goal, scored by Venezuelan David Martinez (38'). Then, Gabonese Denis Bouanga (73') and Salvadoran substitute Nathan Ordaz (90+4') added to the score. Son easily cut through Miami's defense throughout the match in front of a loud crowd of about 76,000 spectators, the second-largest attendance in the history of the American league.
