The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. A Meta spokesperson said, "We are delighted that Limitless is joining Meta to help accelerate the pace of developing AI-powered devices." Artificial intelligence is used to enhance Meta's applications, including Facebook and Instagram, and to refine the capabilities of smart glasses being developed in partnership with EssilorLuxottica. Dan Serokur, CEO of Limitless, said, "Meta has finally unveiled a new vision to make superintelligence accessible to everyone. Part of this vision involves developing wearable AI-powered devices." He added, "We share this vision and will join Meta to help bring it to life." Limitless has raised about $33 million from investors, and its valuation in the latest funding round was estimated at around $368 million, according to PitchBook, a market data firm. Its founder, Serokur, said, "We are no longer working on a wild idea, but are building a future that is inevitably coming."
