American company SpaceX has successfully launched the Cygnus XL cargo spacecraft, carrying over five tons of equipment to the International Space Station (ISS). The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral in Florida at 7:41 AM local time. This mission, named NG-24, is the company's 24th flight under this contract. The spacecraft is expected to arrive at its destination on Monday, where it will be captured by the station's robotic arm. The cargo, weighing approximately 4990 kg and 20% larger than previous versions, will support a wide range of advanced scientific research in a microgravity environment.
