Singer Gabito Ballesteros and Anuel AA were chosen to star in the opening video for the exclusive Spanish broadcast of Super Bowl LIX on FOX Deportes. "Thanks to God, we were chosen to be part of this great event. I generally support all teams, my respects to everyone," Gabito expressed in a recent video call interview. The special video, in which Ballesteros and Anuel collaborate, will be available before February 9 in New Orleans, where the Super Bowl will be held between teams that are still to be determined in the NFL 2025 conference finals. The recording of the opening video took place in December in Mexico City.
"It's exciting to share what we got to experience. Meeting great colleagues, great representatives of Latin music, and being part of this encounter between music, sports, and Latin culture in general fills me with pride," added Gabito Ballesteros. The artist, originally from Sonora, mentioned that he enjoys watching the Super Bowl with his family and friends, with carne asada, typical Sonoran music, and other local traditions. Ballesteros, who received five nominations for the Premio lo Nuestro 2025, including male artist of the year in Mexican music, is currently at the top of the popularity charts in Mexico with the song 'Presidente' alongside Natanael Cano, Luis R Conriquez, and Neton Vega.
