On Thursday, an incident occurred at Seattle airport when a plane from Japan Airlines and American Delta Air Lines collided. Specifically, a Boeing 767 from Japan Airlines struck a Boeing 737 from Delta Air Lines, as this first aircraft was already taking off before the takeoff of the latter. No one was injured as a result of the collision.
"We apologize for the occurrence. Our aircraft had a flight plan separate from Japan Airlines, and we are actively collaborating with partners to investigate the incident," reported Delta Air Lines. If we believe Japan Airlines, their aircraft was on the taxiway when the collision happened. "No one was injured. After the incident, passengers exited the aircraft," added representatives from the Japanese airline.
