Global news always confirm this aphorism. Recently it became known that one New York artist decided to bring something unusual into the world of art. Mister John Jay de Young, who has transitioned from a starving art dealer to a professional artist, came up with a unique way to embed his paintings in memory bookmarks.
He does not just create art pieces but also embeds little hidden characters from popular films into them. According to him, such an approach helps give paintings additional meaning, prompting the viewer to ponder where exactly that or another character is hidden.
"I want my paintings to remain with people for a long time after they see them. My hidden characters allow everyone to find something of their own in the artwork," says John Jay de Young.
