The iconic Latin rock band Maná, after its historic nomination to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has announced a monumental tour across the United States and Canada. The tour, named Vivir Sin Aire Tour in honor of one of their iconic songs, is scheduled to cover 21 cities and promises to take fans on a journey filled with hits.
The first performance of the tour is set for September 5 with two consecutive shows at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. Throughout this tour, Maná will perform in cities where they have never played before, such as Nashville, St. Louis, Baltimore, Montreal, and Detroit, as well as multiple dates in Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix, San José, and Miami.
With nearly 40 years of artistic trajectory, Maná is known for its contagious energy, messages of social awareness, and love for music. This band has left an indelible mark on Latin music and culture in general.
In November, Maná will return to the Kia Forum in Los Angeles for a series of four nights, setting a new record in the city. With these performances, the band will surpass the record for shows in arenas in Los Angeles, becoming the artist with the most performances in the city's history, surpassing legends like Bruce Springsteen.
Additionally, a percentage of the tickets sold will be donated to the foundation “Latinas Luchonas,” in memory of the vocalist Fher Olvera's mother. This foundation, in partnership with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, aims to empower Latina businesswomen through scholarships, mentorships, and leadership opportunities. With this gesture, Maná seeks to honor the struggle, spirit, and contributions of Latina women in society.
