
Dubai chocolate and karak tea attracted attention at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas. Attendees stood in line to try unique flavors that combine tradition and innovation.
The Chaiwala project presented authentic karak tea, prepared according to traditional recipes in a large kettle. Organizer Ahmed Kazem noted that this allows people to experience the true Dubai atmosphere.
The Museum of the Future at SXSW drew attention with its unique stand, showcasing interactive experiences supported by artificial intelligence, and engaging dialogues with prominent personalities such as astronaut Hazzaa Al Mansouri and Senna Pandya. SXSW head Hugh Forrest emphasized that the museum helps shape the representation of the future.
Over 5 days of the festival in Texas, the Museum of the Future stand welcomed more than 25,000 visitors and became one of the most visited, presenting modern technologies, art, and innovation. More than 40 experts from various fields shared their knowledge on topics like space, future food, art, literature, cinematography, artificial intelligence, and other important areas.
The Dubai Future Foundation was the official sponsor of the "2050" direction at SXSW and held several discussion sessions. In addition, the Museum of the Future stand was visited by over 130 journalists, gathering more than 115 media publications in the U.S. press.
Organizers and participants express hope for the continuation of similar initiatives in the future, and they are pleased to see interest in Dubai products and innovations, which were prominently showcased at the event in Texas.
