Buenos Aires, December 29 (NA) – Disney Plus, in collaboration with Hulu, has just released this Monday the first trailer for the sequel to the classic sitcom 'Malcolm in the Middle,' featuring some original cast members returning to the roles that catapulted them to fame. According to what was accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the series, subtitled 'Life's still unfair' – 'La vida sigue siendo injusta' in Spanish – will have a total of four episodes and will be available starting April 10, 2026. What is known about 'Malcolm in the Middle: Life's still unfair' so far From what can be seen in the trailer, the series takes place 19 years after the end of the last season, where we can see an adult Malcolm – played by Frankie Muniz – breaking the fourth wall with the audience and acknowledging that his life is 'fantastic' after distancing himself from his family. The initial conflict seems to be that his family finally discovers that he was intentionally hiding from them and they unite to find him. All of this while the family gathers to celebrate Lois and Hal's 40th anniversary, the parents of the series. The cast of the sequel 'Malcolm in the middle': Frankie Muniz as Malcolm, Bryan Cranston as Hal, Jane Kaczmarek as Lois, Justin Berfield as Reese, Christopher Masterson as Francis, Emy Coligado as Piama (Francis's wife). Caleb Ellsworth-Clark is the one who will take on the role of adult Dewey. Erik Per Sullivan, the actor who played him, retired from the small screen years ago.
