Sydney Sweeney May Face Charges for Trespassing at Hollywood Sign

American actress Sydney Sweeney could face legal charges after TMZ published a video on Monday showing her at the iconic Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, hanging a row of bras to promote a lingerie brand.

The footage shows the 'Euphoria' star and her team, dressed in black, climbing to the top of the historic white letters to hang a handful of bras. "Good job," Sweeney's voice is heard saying as she smiles at the scene under the cover of night.

Although the actress obtained permission to film the Hollywood sign, which is located on a fenced property with restricted public access, she could face legal trouble for climbing the sign itself. "No permit was granted for this, as required," the president of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, the sign's owner, stated in a comment to a film-industry magazine.

It is illegal to touch, climb, or physically alter the Hollywood letters, whose public access is strictly limited to surrounding trails.
