A passenger plane, arriving from Kansas, crashed into the Potomac River in Washington after colliding with a military helicopter not far from the national airport Reagan, officials reported.

One of the surviving passengers described the incident: "Everything happened very quickly. We heard a loud bang, and then felt the impact. I looked out and saw that the plane's engine had started to fail. We were in shock."

According to the information, there were 50 passengers and 5 crew members on board. Official information indicated that there were no fatalities or injuries resulting from the crash, however, officials pre-stated to communicate the results after a more detailed investigation.
