As a result of a gas explosion that occurred in a resort area on the Hawaiian island of Maui, seven people have suffered, three of whom are in critical condition. This was reported by the management of the hotel and the island police.
The Maui Police Department noted that initial investigations indicated that the cause of the explosion was leaked natural gas, which is supplied to public places for grills in the resort area.
