A woman faces charges after her 11-year-old son drove their car into a daycare. Thankfully, no injuries occurred, but the damage will close the facility for repairs.

Mother Charged After Child Drives into Daycare

A woman was accused of being in the wrong direction with a car at a children's playground last Wednesday, although she was not behind the wheel, but her 11-year-old son was. The boy notified the police, who arrived at the scene of the incident because his mother had been delayed at their school, which is why he decided to leave instead of waiting. When he attempted to leave, the car suddenly took off and crashed into a building, but nobody was injured.

Witnesses claim that the car 'drove past a small bush and tore a window off the building, causing damage.' While she was absent, the boy lost patience and decided to leave on his own. The police investigated the mother for putting her child in danger by leaving him in a running vehicle, noting that she was not arrested immediately as she could not recover about the children.

One of the neighbors noted that 'the damage was significantly large enough for the building to require substantial repairs,' which indicates that the daycare will be closed until further notice. According to the channel 'Fox 4', the police report indicates that one of the mothers arrived about 4 hours later, 'to pick up the children from the daycare and left her 11-year-old son in the car.'
