In Memphis, police provided assistance to a man who had been injured by a gunshot, who turned out to be a random person and was bitten by his own dog. Law enforcement officials reacted to the incident on Monday at 3:50 a.m. local time at an address on Uitni Street.
At the domestic house, they found the man who was on the bed with his friend, when the dog that had been hurt jumped on the bed and caught his leg with its teeth, which led to the gunshot.
"He received a wound to the left hip, and then was hospitalized. He was lucky," the Memphis police reported.
