Dolly Parton: "I don't have time to get old!"

Country icon Dolly Parton, ahead of her 80th birthday, debunks health rumors and presents a new autobiography, asserting she feels full of energy and is working hard.

American country singer Dolly Parton, who will turn 80 soon, says she feels like she's just getting started. In an exclusive interview with People magazine, she said, "I feel like I'm just starting out." Parton added that, barring any health issues (and there are none for now), she still has a lot to do. Last month, due to alarming reports about her health after her sister asked people to pray for her, Parton had to post a humorous video: "I'm not dead yet!" Previously, in September, she postponed her Las Vegas concerts due to unspecified health problems. In her new autobiography, "Star of the Show: My Life on Stage," Parton reflects on her seven decades as a singer, calling it "a love letter to the stage and the fans who made it possible." She also stated, "I don't have time to get old!" The singer, who has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, shared her reflections on her life and career, expressing gratitude for her dreams coming true.
