The results showed that travel imposes a unique rhythm on the heart, similar to that of athletes, through an alternating pattern of stress and relaxation. Initially, new experiences activate the heart rate, followed by periods of rest that recharge energy. This process helps to improve cardiovascular health. The study also concluded that long holidays and trips have a more sustainable effect compared to short trips. For example, a week-long vacation contributes to stress relief for a longer period compared to a weekend.
