Marco Rubio Outlines New US Foreign Policy

New Secretary of State Marco Rubio has outlined the US foreign policy under Donald Trump, emphasizing American interests and cooperation with other nations, while withdrawing from climate agreements and social diversity programs.

The new Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko Rubio, outlined the general outlines of American diplomacy in the era of Donald Trump, announcing the country's exit from the climate agreement and the suspension of the social diversity program. 'American interests will be in the first place,' he emphasized, starting his mission to prevent any racist actions that could originate in Asia, hinting at such a pattern in China.

'We need to return to the foundations of diplomacy, stop focusing on political and cultural issues that sow discord in our country and do not resonate with the population abroad,' noted Marko Rubio in the statement. 'This will allow us to bring a pragmatic foreign policy in cooperation with other countries to strengthen our core national interests.'

Here is what the minister said about his approach: 'Cooperation in the world and trade with other countries should be the fundamental principles of our diplomacy, and we need to strive for beneficial deals that strengthen our positions.'

Experts noted that similar statements from the new head of the State Department could provoke confusion among a number of partners of the United States. However, on the other hand, they point out that such an approach could strengthen the US position on the international stage and ensure more favorable conditions in foreign trade agreements.
