Trump Discusses TikTok Sale to Microsoft

President of the USA Donald Trump stated today to journalists that Microsoft is in talks to purchase the TikTok application, and he would like to see an intensive push for the acquisition of this application.

Trump mentioned that he is leading negotiations with some parties regarding the purchase of TikTok, and the entire application will most likely be banned for a short period until the law comes into effect on January 19. This law requires the Chinese company-owner of the application, ByteDance, to sell it under the threat of a ban.

After taking office on January 20, Trump signed a directive to delay the implementation of the law for 75 days.
