Former US President Donald Trump stated on Monday that the Secret Service will no longer provide protection for two children of former Democratic President Joe Biden, after Biden withdrew their protection in July. Trump expressed his discontent on social media regarding the fact that 18 agents were assigned to protect Hunter Biden during his trip to South Africa this week. Retailing that Ashli Biden had 13 agents assigned for her protection, Trump added that "she will also be removed from the list".
According to federal law, former presidents and their spouses have lifetime protection from the Secret Service, however protection, provided directly to their family members over 16 years of age, ends upon the completion of their term.
