
The White House announced the beginning of long-awaited telephone conversations between U.S. President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. The conversations began on Tuesday and are going 'well'.
Details of the talks are not being disclosed, however, a representative of the White House noted the positive nature of the conversations.
"We can confirm that the conversation has started and is going well," said the press secretary of the White House.
It is expected that during the conversations the presidents will discuss important issues of bilateral relations and international politics.
