Former US President Donald Trump on Sunday condemned "corrupt journalists" at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) following the resignation of its director-general over a scandal involving a documentary about the Republican leader. Trump stated on his social media platform Truth Social that "corrupt journalists" had been exposed, adding that "these are very dishonest people who tried to interfere in the presidential elections. And above all, they are from a foreign country, which many consider our top ally."
