U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters on Saturday that he will take legal action against the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in the coming days, demanding compensation ranging from $1 to $5 billion. Trump's lawyers sent a letter to the BBC on Monday, accusing it of damaging the president's reputation by broadcasting an edited clip of his speech before the 2021 Capitol riot. "We will sue them (the BBC) for any amount between one and five billion dollars, perhaps sometime next week. I think I should do it. They even admitted their cheating," Trump said aboard Air Force One.
