Russia and Ukraine, on Wednesday, expressed their readiness for further talks with the United States to work out a solution. During the consultations, the parties discussed key aspects related to security and political settlement. Representatives of both countries emphasized the importance of a diplomatic dialogue to achieve stability in the region. The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere, however, sharp disagreements on some issues still remain. "We are striving for a peaceful resolution of the conflict, but this requires mutual concessions," one of the participants of the negotiations said. The next round of consultations is scheduled for next week.
