Two sources familiar with the matter reported that an investigation by the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) criticized Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for using the Signal application on his personal device to transmit sensitive information about planned strikes in Yemen. The investigation concluded that this action could have put American forces at risk if the information had been intercepted.
