U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday sent a letter to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, in which he mentioned the Nobel Committee's decision not to award him the Nobel Peace Prize despite his, in his words, successful efforts to stop eight wars. This statement came against the backdrop of his desire to annex Greenland to the United States. In his message, which was also sent to several European ambassadors with a request to deliver it to the leaders of their countries, Trump wrote: 'Dear Jonas, since your country has decided not to award me the Nobel Peace Prize for my efforts to stop more than eight wars, I no longer feel committed to thinking only about peace. Although it will always be the most important thing, I can now think about what is good and appropriate for the United States of America.'
