The United States has announced an agreement on a prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine. He described the peace talks that led to the agreement as "detailed and productive." This is the first prisoner exchange in five months between Moscow and Kiev, which follows numerous exchanges of both soldiers and civilians held captive after their direct contacts in Istanbul last year.
