U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will hold talks on Wednesday with leaders of the Caribbean region. The main topics of discussion will be regional security and efforts to combat migration and drug trafficking in Saint Kitts and Nevis. These consultations are taking place amid U.S. efforts to increase pressure on Cuban leaders, as well as amidst a transition of power in Venezuela following the operation that led to the arrest of President Nicolás Maduro.
