The suspect fired first from his car and then from the street, injuring people on the patio and inside the bar. Police identified the suspect as 53-year-old Ndiaga Diagne, a U.S. citizen of Senegalese origin. He was shot and killed by responding officers. He was wearing a sweater with the phrase 'property of Allah' and a shirt with the Iranian flag. Federal authorities, including the FBI, are investigating the shooting as a possible act of terrorism, but no clear motive has yet been found.
