The commander of US Central Command, General Brad Cooper, said on Wednesday that the military destroyed 16 Iranian ships and one submarine, and struck nearly 2,000 targets in Iran. Cooper confirmed that Iran's defenses were severely weakened by the destruction of hundreds of Iranian missiles, aircraft, and drones. In a video posted on X today, Cooper added, "There is not a single Iranian ship sailing in the Arabian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, or the Gulf of Oman." He also noted that Iran has launched more than 500 ballistic missiles and over 2,000 drones.
