Film producer Harvey Weinstein again defended his innocence in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, in which he also described a New York jail as a «hell». In the conversation, which took place at the end of January, Weinstein said he is in a medical unit on Rikers Island and is isolated from other inmates. He suffers from serious health problems and expressed a fear of dying in these facilities. «It's incredible to have had the life I had and to have done the things I did for society and not have the indulgence to treat me with more kindness,» he said. Weinstein admitted he was a «terrible harasser» but denied sexually assaulting anyone. He also complained that most of his acquaintances, including some of his children, have cut him off.
