The incident, in which no one was injured, occurred around 6:37 local time (10:37 GMT), after the suspect drove through a barrier located on Connecticut Avenue, according to the MPD. The streets around the U.S. executive residence remain temporarily closed while investigations are underway. President Donald Trump was at the White House, from where he departed for the state of Kentucky—a stop on his schedule of domestic engagements as the U.S. continues its joint war with Israel against Iran. Last January, a man was arrested by Secret Service agents for allegedly causing property damage and breaking windows at the residence of U.S. Vice President JD Vance in Ohio, where he was not present.
