According to The Atlantic magazine, citing informed sources, there are discussions in the White House about the departure of FBI Director Kash Patel, Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll, and Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemier from the administration of President Donald Trump. The magazine notes that the timing is undefined and Trump has not yet made a decision. Reuters was unable to immediately verify the accuracy of this report. On Friday, American media reported that Pentagon leadership has fired two other high-ranking generals, not just Chief of Staff of the Army Randy George. According to The Washington Post, citing sources, the generals are David Hothney, who took command of training and transformation in the Army in October, and Brigadier General William Green Jr., the Chief of Chaplains for the Army.
