American police arrested a man who was scheduled to appear in court on a car theft case after officials from the Monterey County Sheriff's Office reported that he drove a stolen car to the courthouse parking lot. On Tuesday morning, members of the Joint Auto Theft Task Force spotted Ricardo Otero, 41, entering the courthouse parking lot in San Jose in a car that had been reported stolen from San Jose. According to the 'Californian' website, citing records from the Monterey County Superior Court, Otero was in court for a hearing related to his arrest last November on charges of car theft. Immediately, Otero was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail on suspicion of driving or possessing a stolen vehicle, committing a felony while out on bail, and driving with a suspended license.
