The candidate from the Republican Party for the post of President of the USA Donald Trump filed a lawsuit against CBS due to an interview with his opponent from the Democratic Party Kamala Harris on Thursday. During the interview with the senator from California and vice-presidential candidate Harris, questions were raised about Trump's policies regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and protests against systemic racism in the USA. The lawsuit also addressed the issue of the relationship between the Trump administration and Russia. Trump’s advocates claim that CBS violated journalistic standards and interfered in the electoral process by giving Harris a platform to spread accusations against Trump. In response to the lawsuit presented, CBS representatives stated that the company will decisively defend itself against Trump's accusations and will remain true to its journalistic ethics.
