In the Miami Grand Prix, the sixth race of the 2025 Formula 1 season, Oscar Piastri dominated the competition and achieved his fourth victory of the year, marking his third consecutive win. McLaren enjoyed a 1-2 finish with Piastri in first place and George Russell in second.
Piastri stood out by overtaking Max Verstappen on lap 14, taking the first position from him. From that moment on, the Australian maintained the lead without issues, while Verstappen struggled with problems in his RB21. On lap 18, the Dutchman fell to third place after being overtaken by Lando Norris in an intense battle.
The strategy of the McLaren drivers allowed Norris to gain an advantage over Verstappen, who was frustrated by brake issues and failed to recover. To his disappointment, Verstappen finished outside the podium, conceding third place to George Russell.
