The project involves the construction of a modern covered stadium on the site of the current Robert F. Kennedy Stadium in the eastern part of Washington. The project's cost is estimated at $3.7 billion. The stadium is expected to accommodate about 65,000 spectators upon its anticipated opening in 2030. A White House spokesperson, Caroline Levitt, told ESPN: "That would be a great name, because President Trump is the one who made building the new stadium possible."
