On Friday, December 4th, in Washington at the John F. Kennedy Center, the Argentine national team will find out its rivals for the group stage of the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. For the first time in the tournament's history, 48 teams will participate, divided into 12 groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group and the eight best third-place teams will advance to the Round of 16, where the knockout stage will begin to determine the new world champion. The event will be broadcast live on television by TyC Sports, DSports, Telefe, and the Public TV.
