US President Donald Trump praised Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Al Nassr and previously for Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. Trump revealed that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner contacted him after his visit to the White House to express his gratitude to the president for the tour of the presidential residence. On his Truth Social platform late Saturday, Trump wrote: "Cristiano Ronaldo, the great football player, just called me to thank me for taking him on a tour of the White House and the Oval Office." Social media also shared a new photo of Ronaldo with the president, in which Trump described him as "an incredible person, not just as an athlete but as a person. You won't find anyone better."
