The Philadelphia Eagles, the current Super Bowl champions, secured their division title with a 29-18 victory over the Washington Commanders on Saturday night. This win marks their second consecutive NFC East championship. It wasn't a perfect start for the Eagles, with mistakes ranging from a fumble on the opening kickoff to a couple of penalties on their popular 'Tush Push' play and even three missed field goals from the left side. However, Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, and the rest of the team eventually found their rhythm to secure the win. Starting plays from the center of the field much more frequently than at the beginning of the season, Hurts completed 22 of 30 passes—15 of them to A.J. Brown or DeVonta Smith—for 185 yards, two touchdowns, and no turnovers. The Eagles (10-5), winners of two straight after a three-game losing streak, are the first team to lead the NFC East in consecutive seasons since Philadelphia did so every year from 2001 to 2004.
