Right-back Facundo Mura, whose contract with Racing is expiring and will not be renewed, has reportedly agreed to become a new reinforcement for Inter Miami in the United States, where he would become Lionel Messi's teammate.
According to the Argentine News Agency, Mura's contract at Racing was very low (he arrived in 2022), and the offer made by the current management led by Diego Alberto Milito did not fully convince him. For this reason, Mura has decided to leave for a new team as a free agent, with the possibility of securing a contract that meets his economic expectations.
In this context, Inter Miami has expedited the matter with the objective of covering the right-back position, although Mura can also play as a left-back if necessary.
The 26-year-old Mura joined Racing in 2022 from Colón de Santa Fe. During his time at the "Academy", he played a total of 144 matches, scoring 12 goals and providing 15 assists. Furthermore, he was key to winning four titles: the 2022 Trofeo de Campeones, the 2023 Supercopa Internacional, the 2024 Copa Sudamericana, and the 2025 Recopa Sudamericana.
