LeBron James would rather be home for Christmas

Buenos Aires, December 24 (NA) – LeBron James, one of the greatest stars in NBA history and current player for the Los Angeles Lakers, expressed his dissatisfaction with having to play on Christmas: "I'd rather be at home".

Prior to the December 25th game between the Lakers and Houston Rockets, James spoke with the press, and the Noticias Argentina news agency had access to these statements:

"I'm going to be completely honest. It's a game I watched as a child on Christmas, watching many of the best play on Christmas".

Additionally, he added:

"It has always been an honor, but obviously, to be honest, I would rather be at home, on the couch, with my family all day. But they have called us, so we have to go out and perform, and I look forward to it".

The 40-year-old James is in his 23rd NBA season, where he has been champion four times: in 2012 and 2013 with the Miami Heat, in 2016 with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and in 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers.

His current team, the Los Angeles Lakers, is having a regular season, as they are fourth in the Western Conference with a record of 19 wins and 9 losses.

The game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets will be this Thursday at 22:00.
