President of Inter Miami David Beckham is at the center of a controversy following the strong statements from his eldest son, Brooklyn. In a post, he accuses him and his wife Victoria of manipulating the press and sabotaging his marriage to Nicola Peltz.
The businessman, present at the World Economic Forum in Davos, did not hesitate to speak out publicly just hours after his son's social media post, as covered by the Argentine News Agency.
The media immediately insisted on finding some kind of statement from the head of the Beckham clan: “David, do you have a message for Brooklyn this morning?” asked the reporter from Sky News.
However, the former footballer called for silence and coldly avoided referring to his family scandal. Beckham's immediate reaction was to walk calmly along the ramp, dodging the press and avoiding eye contact with the Sky News reporter, something the host did not forgive.
“Well, like father, like son. It's all silence from David Beckham in response to Paul Kelso's questions from Sky, who tried to interact with the world-famous footballist after his son Brooklyn's Instagram Stories posts about a family dispute, saying he had no desire to try and heal the wounds, as he perceives them, between him and his father,” commented on the businessman's reaction.
“David, are you disappointed that family matters are being aired in public?”
