Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will face each other again in a professional rematch on September 19 at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The fight will be broadcast globally via Netflix. The announcement comes just days after Mayweather confirmed his intention to come out of retirement following his scheduled exhibition in 2026 against Mike Tyson and signed a multi-fight deal with CSI Sports/FIGHT SPORTS. Pacquiao also came out of retirement last July and faced the then WBC welterweight champion, Mario Barrios, with whom he drew by majority decision. He also set a box office record with $72.2 million in ticket sales. Additionally, Mayweather will have an exhibition match against Ruslan Provodnikov on April 18 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The division and number of rounds for this fight have not yet been determined. It will be recalled that on May 2, 2015, Mayweather defeated Pacquiao by unanimous decision in a highly anticipated fight that failed to meet the huge expectations, but it did break several records that still stand, including 4.6 million pay-per-view buys in the United States and over $410 million in revenue.
