US President Donald Trump surprised the audience by highly praising the Egyptian club Al Ahly, during a reception for the Inter Miami team — the 'champion of the American football league' and its star, Argentine legend Lionel Messi, at the White House. Trump said to the Inter Miami players: 'You drew in the Club World Cup with the best club in Egypt, which is an incredibly talented team.' Inter Miami had drawn with Al Ahli without goals in the Club World Cup, which was later won by the English Chelsea. In that match, Al Ahly played a wonderful first half at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and could have defeated Messi and his teammates, but their player Mahmoud Hassan Trezegue missed a penalty when Inter Miami's goalkeeper Oscar Ustari shone and was named man of the match.
